We are writing to share an important update regarding our Utility Assistance Program. As previously communicated, our agency planned to open the appointment line on January 31st. Unfortunately, due to unexpected funding delays beyond our control, we are not able to move forward with appointments at this time. Currently, we do not have a confirmed date for when funding will be restored. We understand how difficult and frustrating this is, especially for those who have been waiting and planning around this service. Please know that this decision was not made lightly, and we share in the disappointment this news may bring.

Our team is actively working with the state agency to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. As soon as we receive confirmation that we can resume services, we will notify the community right away through our website (www.capmal.org) and Facebook page - Community Action Middle AL. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Thank you for allowing is to serve you, and for your continued trust in our agency.
